BasicTime is a simple clock widget that will have you wondering why Android didn’t include one like this in the first place. It shows the current time and date using your device’s system font, with a size of 2x1.
You can choose between 12-hour (am/pm) or 24-hour (00:00-23:59) clock formats, or whether you want white text or black text. Those are the only two choices you have to make – it is incredibly simple.
BasicTime doesn’t call ad servers or other web services under the hood, so this widget’s processing is as simple as it can get, meaning it won’t drain your device’s battery. And the 2x1 size means you can place BasicTime in more places than larger widgets, especially those 4x1 widgets requiring a whole row of icons. BasicTime is not a space hog.
